What you enter in the app

To personalise your support, the app may ask for:

• your child's name and age
• your answers to the guided questions
• your action plans, daily check-ins, notes and small wins

All of this is saved only in the app's private storage on your own device. It is never sent to us or to anyone else.

What we do not do

• We do not ask you to create an account.
• We do not use analytics, advertising or tracking tools.
• We do not sell, share or transfer your information.
• The app does not send your information over the internet.

Children

The app is designed for parents and carers. The Calm Kids feelings tools are meant to be used by a child with a grown-up. We do not collect any information from children.

Keeping and deleting your information

Your information stays on your device until you delete it. Deleting the app deletes everything you have entered. Because nothing is stored with us, we cannot recover your history if the app is deleted or you move to a new phone.

If you use your phone's own backup service (such as iCloud or Google backup), your phone may include app data in those backups. Those backups are controlled by you and your provider, not by us.

Some parts of the app, such as the Bright Roots Library, may link to brightrootswellbeing.com. When you visit the website, our website privacy policy applies.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have rights over your personal data. As we do not hold any personal data from the app, there is nothing for us to access, correct or delete. You stay in full control of your information on your own device.
